FAQs:

I’ve never been to anything like this before. What should I expect?

Expect to be in the presence of a large group of awesome men who, just like you, seek a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. God has called each man to be that someone special to others (our wife, our children, our grandchildren, our parents, our friends), who, made in the image and likeness of God, help to get those around us to heaven. If you have a desire to help lead others to heaven (isn’t that what heroes do??), you’ll be in good company.

What is the location of the Conference?

The conference will be located at the Cana Room of the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Jefferson City, Missouri. The Cana Hall is located on the south side of the Cathedral. The address of the Cathedral is 2305 West Main St. in Jefferson City.

What time does it start?

On Friday, April 19, the registration table opens at 4:30 p.m. with an informal dinner served at 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday, April 20, the registration table opens at 8:00 a.m., with coffee and doughnuts available until the Opening Remarks at 8:45 a.m.

Who is speaking?

It’s a great lineup. Speaking at our opening keynote is Mr. Lamar Hunt, Jr., of Kansas City, Missouri, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and founder of the Loretto Foundation. Keynotes on Saturday, April 20 will be delivered by Father Bill Peckman, Pastor of Immaculate Conception Church in Macon and author of A Young Catholic’s Guide to Spiritual Warfare, and co-author of Let Freedom Ring: A 40-Day Tactical Training for Freedom from the Devil; Mr. Adam Wright, Catholic Radio Talk Show Host on 88.1 FM (Roadmap to Heaven); Dr. Andrew Swafford, Professor of Theology at Benedictine College; and Mr. Brian Miller, Director of Evangelization and Discipleship at the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

How old do I need to be to attend?

Attendees at the age of Junior High and older are welcome to attend, though fathers may bring younger sons if the son will benefit from witnessing so many men hungering to deepen their faith, or if bringing his son(s) means the father will be able to attend. In essence, there is no age limit.

Does registration include meals?

Yes. On Friday, we will have an informal dinner, with a “Cigar and Bourbon” reception following the keynote on Friday evening (alternative refreshments will be provided for underage attendees); on Saturday morning, we will serve coffee and doughnuts during registration, and we will serve a quick sandwich, chips, and drink for lunch. The registration fee covers all food and drinks.

Will there be an opportunity for Confession during the day?

Of course. During the lunch break, we will have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by Adoration and Benediction. During the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, we hope to have several priests available to hear Confessions in the Cathedral.

What should I bring with me?

Your favorite writing utensil and your journal/notebook. Whether you journal or not, you’ll want to capture the wisdom of the keynote presenters to take back home to reflect on.

Whom should I bring with me?

Any son, father, grandfather, nephew, cousin, friend who is hungering for a deeper relationship with God, or any man who needs to witness the awesome power of faith exhibited by a large group of men desiring to become the man that God has called him to be.

What happens if I can't make it for the entire time?

Feel free to register and come for as much of the day(s) as you can. There is a separate registration fee for either Friday or Saturday, or a greater value fee for both days.

Will you accept my registration the day of the conference?

Yes, walk-ins will be accepted, but the registration fee jumps to $40 per day, or $50 for both days, for walk-ins. Anyone not registering before Wednesday, April 17 will be charged this higher registration fee.

I lost my ticket. What should I do?

Don’t worry. We’ve got you covered. We have record of your purchase and will have your name tag ready to go.

I have other questions. Whom should I contact?
